On the fertile terraces on our land we have about 50 fruit trees of different species. Pears, apples, plums, cherries, oranges, lemons, anona, figs, guava, hazelnuts, grapefruit, peaches, almonds, kakis and the like. At the moment this is merely self-sustainable, but we expect it to be too much to eat soon.
Besides fruits we grow our own vegetables for our own needs. We are also experimenting with cash crops, like sweet potatoes and artichokes. We also make goatcheese. Our chickens have eggs that we sell on the local market.

Here’s the story in our Transitionsong.
